Phil “Felipe” Stevenson, CRMP

Phil Stevenson, the Mortgage Nerd®, has been in the mortgage business for over 20 years and owned his company since 2012.  PS Mortgage Lending is a mortgage broker business with unique specializations in Reverse Mortgages for seniors and VA Mortgages for Veterans.  As a veteran of the wars in both Afghanistan and Iraq, family values, honesty, and integrity are of utmost importance to him.

Phil earned degrees in International Relations, Economics, and Geography from FIU.  During his mortgage career, he has been interviewed and quoted in Forbes 3 times as a Reverse Mortgage expert and is 1 of under 200 Certified Reverse Mortgage Professionals in the US.  PS Lending ranked #1 in Florida for Reverse Mortgages from 2015 to 2017.  Phil placed in the top 1% in mortgages nationally from 2020 to 2022, and was named a “Top Veteran Loan Originator” Nationally in 2024 & 2025.

Stevenson has been a dedicated member of the Coral Gables Chamber since 2014.  He was previously on the board of directors, trustee diplomat, and was the chair of the reconnect lunch for 2 years.

Phil now lives in Key Largo with his wife and kids and commutes to Miami 2 days per week for work.
